The gardens are open all year round from 07.00 to dusk and worth a visit for the Great Vine, Maze, and various formal gardens.
Invest in one of the excellent Hampton Palace Guidebooks and take your time. Give up the other royal palaces if you must, skip Windsor and pass on Stratford.
Very small children may tire early.
Hampton Court Palace is closed 24-26 December and 1 January. |
