Long Day’s Journey into Night is Eugene O' Neill’s wonderful play about the cycle of American life and family. The Lyric’s one of the nicer theaters on Shaftesbury Ave. and a pop round the corner for some Chinese food before the curtain rises, or a stroll through the many nightclubs of the area is recommended.
